How do I activate UltraViolet™ for my box set?

Preliminary steps for UV activation
Before you get started you will need to have a UV account that is linked to Flixster video (this is a free service):
- Navigate to Flixster’s signup page: https://www.flixstervideo.com/register
- If you have a UV account already, check “I already have an UltraViolet Account and will log in on the next step.”
- If you do not have a UV account, check “Use the same email and password to create my UltraViolet™ account.”
- Follow the rest of the steps to create an account.
UltraViolet™ instructions for Harry Potter Complete 8-Film Collection Blu-ray
- Please login to your Flixter.com account. If you do not have one, please see Preliminary steps for UV activation for account activation instructions
- Once inside your Flixster account, hover over the drop down menu in the top right corner and click “Help” to go to the support center.
- At the bottom of the screen click the popcorn logo to live chat with a representative.
- When prompted, fill in the customer information in the live chat information window.
- For issue type select UV account
- For redemption code put the invalid code which came with the movie
- Explain to the customer representative that you purchased a UK import from amazon.com and the UV codes do not work in the US. Then, ask to get working UV copies.
- Sample message: "hello, I recently bought a UK imported movie from amazon.com which came with UV codes. However, as it is a UK version, the UV codes do not work in the US. I'd like your assistance in downloading working UV editions."
- Most of the time they will need to set up a support ticket to verify your proof of purchase:
- They will send an email saying: “we’d be happy to add this title to your collection, but first we require a photo of both the receipt and the redemption insert that came with your DVD or Blu-ray so we can verify the original purchase.”
- Reply to the email with the information in question.
- Once they receive your reply they will usually grant you the UV editions.

- Click “contact customer service”
- Click “report a problem”
- Fill in information
- For redemption code enter the UV code that came with the item

Exactly what is an UltraViolet™ movie and why is this so difficult to make work?
UltraViolet™ is a service that allows you to purchase a physical movie disc and then have the digital copy to stream and watch on a number of devices as often as you like at no cost to you.
Why do the instructions that came with my box set not work?
Film publishers and movie studios (the people that hold the rights to the movie you just purchased) have a very complicated system for determining rights based on the part of the world you live in. Here, in the United States, there is a separate set of steps for making movies from the European film distributors work.
Is this version of the box set authentic?
Absolutely! 100% of the movies we sell are brand new, authentic releases, sealed in their original box and packaging. We purchase all of our movies directly from the film studio or from authorized studio distributors.
